This Cookie and Technology Policy supplements our Privacy Policy. It explains which cookies and similar technologies are used in the online shop and how you can change your choices.
Your choices
Technologies that are not strictly necessary are only activated once you have given your consent. In the banner, you can allow all, allow only necessary ones or set your choices individually. You can change or withdraw your decision at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. Rejecting is just as easy as consenting.
Technically necessary technologies
These technologies are required so that the shop functions securely and features you have expressly requested can be provided. They include in particular:
- Shopify: shop and session operation, cart, checkout, security and fraud prevention, language and region, and storing your privacy choices.
- Complianz / iubenda Consent Management: displaying the consent banner, storing and documenting your choices, and reopening the settings.
- Payment and shipping services: are only used, to the extent necessary, once you select a corresponding payment or shipping method.
You can find Shopify's current technical cookie list, including purpose and typical storage period, in the Shopify Cookie Policy. In addition, “Customise selection” in the consent banner shows information on individual services detected in the shop.
Optional categories
Convenience and preferences
Optional convenience features store settings or enable additional functions. They are – insofar as consent is required – only activated once you have given your consent.
Statistics
Statistics technologies help us understand how the shop is used. Google Analytics 4 and Shopify Network Intelligence are currently deactivated. Should a statistics function be activated, this will only happen in accordance with your choices in the banner.
Marketing
Marketing technologies can be used to measure the effectiveness of advertising or to personalise content and advertising. Google Ads and Meta Pixel are currently deactivated. External Google and Meta advertising integrations are therefore not currently loaded via the shop. Where consent has been given, Shopify may send reminders about your cart, products viewed, price changes or items back in stock.
Communication
Shopify Inbox including its AI agent and external chat functions are currently deactivated. The contact form in the shop theme is active: it does not set any cookies and uses its own entry code to check directly in your browser that a human is writing – without any third-party services. Storage period and recipients
The storage period depends on the respective technology. As a rule, session data is deleted at the end of the session; other cookies may be stored until the point in time stated in the detailed view or in the linked provider information. Recipients may be Shopify International Limited, affiliated Shopify companies and – only when you use the respective function – payment, shipping or other service providers. Further information on legal bases, transfers to third countries and data subject rights can be found in our Privacy Policy.
Browser settings
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser. This may result in the cart, checkout or other shop functions no longer working reliably.
